Stephen Hughes lives in Oakland, California with his wife, Briana, and their two cats, Penny and Onions. He studied photojournalism and film production at San Francisco State University. When he’s not taking pictures he enjoys watching movies, riding motorcycles, and writing about himself in the third person.

My approach to wedding photography is influenced by my background in photojournalism. I specialize in capturing candid moments that tell the story of your wedding day. Of course, I love taking posed portraits and group photos as well, but my greatest strength is in documenting the real emotions and unscripted interactions that make each wedding unique.
